Thyme For Love

I am fascinated by worms. I keep a worm bin full of red wigglers for vermiculture and I adore earthworms, especially nightcrawlers. I often see nightcrawlers out and about in the evenings, wiggling around on the garden's surface and have wondered what they are up to? It seems even the scientists aren't sure. But I think I may have stumbled onto at least one of the answers. Worm love.

This morning, as I was looking for slugs to drown, I found this amorous couple embracing under the thyme bush. Nightcrawlers are usually skittish but these 2 were oblivious. Awe, isn't love cute? Even worm love. Something tells me we're gonna have a population explosion in the herb garden.
