Selling my Leclerc DOROTHY plus Extras!

**SOLD** on 10-8-11
I need to cull my herd in order to get money to buy reeds for Agda. This little lady is the first up for your consideration.

4 shaft Leclerc DOROTHY with a 16” weaving width. She comes with the yarn needle, shuttles and lease sticks shown, as well as the 16” by 19” compact warping board and the 4 books shown. All you’ll need is some yarn. :-) This is the perfect loom for someone with limited space. Also great for taking to guild meetings or workshops.

The loom will come warped as shown so you can easily figure her out. Must be picked up here in Tacoma, WA.

Ok, I am totally drooling over Dorothy. I have a wonderful vintage book of weaving patterns with hundreds of designs exclusively for 4 shafts that goes back to the Victorian era and even colonial patterns and rare American patterns in the Appalachians and a table top loom would be perfect for playing around and learning on! I may have to cough up some cash! You got any takers yet? Keep me in mind, especially if you have any ideas for trades you are interested in. I've got lots of stuff laying around so maybe we could work something out? Even partial towards the price! Oooh, getting so excited!!!

I do have somone interested but she wants me to ship it to Alabama. I'd rather not. Even if she coughed up the extra $125 or so to have it professionally packed and shipped. I just don't want to have to lug it to the UPS store.

The only thing I'd be interested in bartering for would be 36" or 40" reeds for Agda. Preferably Stainless steel. Otherwise I need the cash to buy them. :-) That is why I have the loom priced low and am adding extras. I need the $200 like yesterday. There is a book on tying up countermarch looms that I want to buy, as well as more heddles and texlov cord. Oh, and an adjustable armless drafting chair. So much for my bargain. She's gonna cost me. LOL

I just checked and the Dorothy loom runs over $700 new. $200 is a steal. ;-)

In case someone wants it but doesn't need a warping board or books you can have just the loom (no extras) for $175.
